"Small daily improvements over time create stunning results" - Robin S. Sharma
Winter can be a tough time, stuck indoors because of the weather, short days. But taking sometime to have a break from the normal routine can be a great way to reset our body and mind. With the shorter days we have at the moment we are given a natural hibernation which is the perfect way to make us change our routine and give ourselves some time to rest. But after a time of rest it can feel great to get back into the groove of a movement routine or meditation routine or building up a new one. But building up a new routine doesn't have to be hard work just a few small changes can make a big difference.
A new routine can include different or new ways to exercise, a new meditation routine. But you do not have to make big changes straight away. Start gradually and build up your new challenge and don't be put off if you miss a day, get back into the routine a soon as possible.
Even starting slow can make you feel good straight away - firstly the knowledge that you are making a step to change will make you feel positive about yourself. Also the activity itself will make you feel better.
So start slow, make small changes and reap the rewards.
